Daniela Lagunas is an associate on the firm’s litigation team, with a focus on representing individuals and businesses in personal injury, employment, and business litigation matters. Daniela also has considerable experience defending civil rights §1983 actions and property damage cases.

Daniela graduated from the University of California San Diego with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. While at UCSD, Daniela volunteered at the Legal Aid Society and the Community Law Project providing legal assistance to indigent residents of San Diego. 

She then earned her Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law. During her time at California Western, Daniela competed in the Phillip C. Jessup Moot Court and was a member of the Moot Court Honors Board. During law school, Daniela was a Judicial Extern for both the Honorable Patricia D. Benke of the Fourth District Court of Appeal and the Honorable Anthony J. Battaglia, U.S. District Judge of the Southern District of California. 

In her spare time, Daniela enjoys staying active and spending time with her fiancé and two dogs. Daniela is fluent in Spanish.

SDLRLA is a non-profit established in 1977 to support Chicano and Latino lawyers in California with a mission to advance the cause of equality, empowerment, and justice for Latino attorneys and the Latino community in San Diego County through service and advocacy.
