As an associate on the firm’s litigation team, Mary Powell represents businesses and individuals in employment, personal injury, construction, and corporate dispute matters. While in law school, Mary interned for the California Department of Transportation and externed for the Honorable Judge Anthony J. Battaglia, District Court Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. Mary clerked for SSCE in her third year and was hired as an associate upon passing the bar exam in 2022.

Mary received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of San Diego and her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law (“CWSL”). While at California Western, Mary aided Professor Laura Padilla as a research assistant, worked as the Editor in Chief of the California Western Law Review, and competed as a member of the CWSL Appellate Competitive Advocacy Team. 

In her free time, she enjoys weightlifting, baking, and spending time with family.
